The Orientation to Law Library Collections class is designed to give attendees an introduction to the Law Library of Congress collections (print and online) and services. As the largest law library in the world, with resources covering U.S. federal and state laws and foreign legal materials, techniques for locating the items will be explained. Reference services and research reports and guides will be explored.

This free 1 hour class, taught by legal reference librarians, is typically offered once a month, on a Tuesday from 10 am to 11 am, in Room LM-201 of the Madison Building. 

Prior to attending a class, you need to obtain a Library of Congress Reader Identification Card (http://www.loc.gov/rr/readerregistration.html). If you have any questions, please call (202) 707-5080.
