Learn to Love Presents:

Open Relationships: Love at Any Age

with Kathy Labriola, Sumati Sparks, and Nisi Baier
Are open relationships sustainable? How does polyamory change over the course of one’s life? What are the best practices for a lifetime of joy and happiness in relationships of any kind
You’ll learn the answer to these questions and more at this one-of-a-kind workshop facilitated by three presenters: a counselor, a therapist, and a life coach, representing three generations of open and polyamorous relationships.
Nisi Baier, a young psychotherapist, will explore topics that are relevant to Bay Area Poly Millenials, including sexual fluidity, establishing careers, learning relationship skills, starting families, gender identity, housing stress, "hookup culture" and reducing mental health stigma.

Sumati Sparks, known as The Open Relationship Coach, will discuss the challenges and best practices for transitioning from the exclusive partnership model to a form of open relating that works best for each person or couple.
Kathy Labriola, counselor, hypnotherapist, and a "poly geezer," together with Tom Schnetlage, will talk about the benefits and the problems of polyamory for older people, those who have been poly for decades as well as people who are trying open relationships for the first time in their elder years.
Each presenter will also talk about the reasons open relationships appeal to people at a particular stage of their lives, the advantages and drawbacks of practicing polyamory for that age group, and offer insights on how to make this type of relationship work for you at any adult age.
This workshop is open to all genders, sexual orientations, and relationship styles.
Volunteer spots are available for those willing to help or anyone with a financial need.
