In this 4 hour workshop we will work together in small groups to create an outline and marketing plan for your first online course (even if you don’t have the idea yet!).

If you have already created a course, this is a great workshop for creating a follow up course for your clients/students.

Here is what we will cover:

Course Creation:

We will create our outlines of what our course will cover to ensure we create a course that not only SELLS but also has IMPACT and leaves your students wanting to learn more.

We will also decide which TYPE of course is right for you and your audience.

We will talk about PRICING options and why a FREE course may be right for you and how pricing can change over time.

We will also cover your course format. Your course can be LIVE online with video or maybe you prefer just audio. Our goal is to make this course EASY for you to create and EASY for your clients to use and gain the most important information.

Marketing:

Creating your course is the first step and by mastering your messaging you can find your IDEAL CLIENTS who ENERGIZE you and are GRATEFUL TO INVEST and learn from you.

We will create a simple marketing campaign to launch for first course. If you have an active email list or not, we will create a simple campaign for you to launch your first course.

Technology:

You will leave with a simple technology checklist of exactly the tools you need to complete your course creation at home. For some people, it may be simply a laptop and earbuds. For others, it may be signing up for an online course platform. We will cover options from almost NO TECH to more sophisticated methods for growing your course over time.

Location:

This workshop will take place in downtown Oakland at the AtMySphere co-working space. We are 10 steps from the 12th Street BART stop. We are on the 33 bus line route. We have indoor bike racks. Our favorite parking garage is Pacific Renaissance Plaza at 989 Webster Street. Rates are $2/hr.
