Learn the basics of improv comedy (from home!) while building confidence, improving public speaking, and having a blast with new friends!
Students will explore the fundamental principles of improvisation through exercises in agreement, commitment, spontaneity, and listening. No prior performance or improv experience are necessary. Classes build upon one another, allowing novice improvisers to grow and be challenged at a comfortable rate. Sessions are designed so students can learn and play in an online setting, without need for tons of personal space. Likewise, the class roster will be limited to twelve student to best accommodate for the digital learning format.
If sign-ups for the class exceed 14 people, we will split the group into two sections with different teachers. If there are friends you are signing up with and want to ensure you are in the same group, please notify us to make sure you are grouped accordingly!
*For BIG's online classes, students will need access to consistent wi-fi and real-time video technology (computer, tablet, phones, etc. with webcams). Students will be emailed an invitation link via Zoom to attend classes but do not need a personal Zoom account to join.
