This introductory parent-coaching seminar is designed to give parents an opportunity to learn more about parenting with positive discipline. Specifically, this class will review the difference between logical consequences and punishment as well as examine conventional thinking about discipline and the long-term results. Parents will walk away with respectful discipline skills that are more effective than punishment.
Following the seminar, parents will have an opportunity to get their parenting questions answered. Our parent training will be fun and interactive. This class will be approximately one hour in length and will begin at 7pm. This class will be co-facilitated by Kristen Niemczyk-Kistner, Ph.D. and Melissa Dupree, M.S., BCBA.
