The Oakland Stitch & Bitch Meetup - Free Social Event (06-12-2020 starts at 6:00 PM)

The original Oakland Stitch & Bitch Meetup Group* has been meeting every week for over a decade, and we're super excited to have another session each week in our Oakland Annex shop! Come on down to Temescal Alley any time between 6 and 9 p.m. on any Friday EXCEPT First Fridays (we host a pop-up shop every First Friday, which you can find on our events calendar, and while you're always welcome to hang out in the alley on those nights, we don't have room for a group inside the shop). The event is come when you want, leave when you want, but you MUST bring your own chair for the time being. So come join us for a session of needlework and making friends! All different people, fiber arts, and skill levels are welcome.
*The original OSBMG meets every Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Farley's East Cafe on Grand Avenue in Oakland!
*** Please keep in mind this is a social event, NOT a class, and there are no tables, chairs, tools, or power provided, so please bring portable projects.
*** You can always ask for help from friends and shop staff, but please do not ask for lessons. If you need low-cost lessons send us an email and we are happy to help!
*** Please be respectful of our space, products, and other customers & stitch-and-bitchers. We encourage lively conversation as long as it remains civil - be polite, and try to stitch at least as much as you bitch!
*** Our shop is dog-friendly as long as your dogs get along with lots of people and other dogs, but we discourage bringing children as this is a fun grown-up event.
Feel free to bring snacks to share (totally optional), and our snacks will be provided for free as always. This is a free event, but if you'd like to contribute a few dollars to keep the lights on it is very much appreciated!
