Grocery Tours with a Registered Dietitian - Aisle by Aisle General Tour

Grocery shopping can be a daunting and time-consuming task, but it doesn’t have to be! On our tours, learn how to best fill your cart with the expert advice of the Center's Registered Dietitian. These fun, interactive, and educational tours will empower you to make healthy decisions, shop smart, get to know the store experts, and be nourished for life.

All tours begin at 10am at the Whole Foods Chappaqua Coffee Bar at the front of the store. Space fills up quickly; early registration suggested! 

Spring 2020 Dates:

3/3, 4/23, 5/5, 6/2 Aisle by Aisle - General Tour 

• Let’s walk down the aisle -- together! We’ll teach you how to read labels, offer tips for saving money, and let you in on our favorite produce, protein, beverage, bulk, pantry, and frozen items. For ages 14+.

3/19, 6/18 Silver Shopping Cart Tour 

• We’ll be addressing the specific grocery needs and challenges of older adults. Let’s talk about senior-friendly foods that are healthy, yummy and budget friendly!

4/7 Spring Break Market Sweep - Children's Tour

• Home for school break? Want to get your child excited about eating healthier? Join us for a family-friendly adventure around the grocery store. Ages 4+ welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult. 

5/12 Beauty From the Inside Out - Personal Care and Home Care Tour

• How you nourish your skin is just as important as how you fuel your body. We're taking a walk down the personal and home care product aisles. Learn about safe alternatives, concerning chemicals, and how to make your own personal care products! For ages 14+.

5/28 Downsizing Your Pantry

• Ideal for empty-nesters or those who find themselves wondering how to shop and cook for a smaller household. Going out to eat isn't always the answer.
