NRA Basic Pistol (IL Concealed Carry Part 1)

This course is useful for shooters of any skill level. The 8 hour instructor lead NRA basic pistol course provides a nationally recognized certificate that meets the requirements for the first 8 hours of the 16 hour Illinois concealed carry training requirement, the Florida non-resident concealed carry training requirement, and the Iowa concealed carry training requirement. 

Refreshments are provided. Gun rentals are $25.

Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an extremely intelligent and good looking (my mom said so) NRA and IL State Police Certified Instructor.
