NRA BASIC PISTOL COURSE

This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and proper use of a pistol and revolver. The course is designed to provide beginning shooters a hands-on learning introduction necessary to own and use a specific revolver,  pistol and model safely. The course includes FIRST classroom  instructions at C.A.S. and Sons Protective Group, 18429 Avalon Blvd., Carson, CA  90746 and range time at SharpShooters at 1827 W 208th St, Torrance, CA 90501. Students will learn the NRA’s Rules For Safe Gun Handling, handgun parts and operation of various models, types of calibers, components of ammunition, fundamentals of pistol, cleaning the weapons, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol handbooks, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, and FIRST Steps course completion certificate.
