What is an ABLE Account?
NC ABLE accounts are special, tax-advantaged savings accounts that allow individuals with disabilities to save money without endangering SSI, SSDI, Medicaid and other supports. NC ABLE Program accounts, administered by the NC Department of State Treasurer, open the door for qualified individuals to save on their own to meet today’s needs and to help accomplish long-term financial goals.
