Night to Shine Fruitport, MI 2019

The Lakes Church in Fruitport, MI is partnering with the Tim Tebow Foundation to host the first Night to Shine! in West Michigan.

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God's love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older.

Every guest of Night to Shine enters this complimentary event on a red carpet complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi.  Once inside, guests receive the royal treatment to include shoe shining stations, party bus rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, prom favors for each honored guest, a Respite Room for parents and caretakers and, of course, dancing! Each guest receives a crown or tiara because they are all kings and queens!   A volunteer buddy will be provided.  If you have a "buddy" you want to spend the evening with, please have them register on our volunteer page and designate who they want to be paired with. 

This event is held simultaneously on one night around the world. This past February, 540 churches representing 28 denominations and 150,000 volunteers in 50 states and 11 countries came together on one night to celebrate 75,000 honored guests with special needs in what has become not just a nationwide event, but a worldwide movement, celebrating people with special needs.
