Tue Night Dupont Run & Happy Hour

Welcome, Dupont Runners!

COVID-19 NOTE: Unfortunately, none of the Dupont run leaders live downtown and because we are all still working from home, our Tuesday/Thursday Dupont runs are still only "virtual" -- we all run on our own and share via our group on Strava (https://www.strava.com/clubs/FCRunners). Feel free to join us!

If you re on Facebook, FCR Dupont has a group there, too, and we ve been doing Zoom happy hours every Tuesday night at 7:30 if you d be interested in joining that. Info is on the Facebook page.

Hopefully we will all be back to running together in person soon, but in the meantime, keep at it! DC summer is tough, but things will get easier as we roll towards fall.

IN NORMAL TIMES: If you re looking for a fun, friendly group of people to run and socialize with, you ve come to the right place! We meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm, right in the middle of Dupont Circle. Our Tuesday runs are followed by happy hours, for food, drinks, and general merriment.

All paces are welcome.

Our routes are usually between 3.5 and 4.5 miles, sometimes with longer/shorter options. We will usually post a route ahead of time, so be sure to check it out in the messages (though we will also go over the route before we set off). Our routes often take us through some particularly beautiful parts of the city, including Woodley Park, Georgetown, the National Mall, and Rock Creek Park.

We will run rain or shine (or snow!), but not in a thunderstorm or a blizzard. Weather-related updates will generally be posted to this page in advance of the Meetup.
