Newark Culture Con 2019

FarCorners Studios, in partnership with Rutgers University—Newark, is hosting the 2019 Newark Culture Con in downtown Newark, NJ at Express Newark, powered by the Newark Latino Film Festival, and supported by Drawlines Studio.
This is year two and the NewarkCultureCon promises to be bigger and better!!! Special celebrity guest is JWCortes, Detective Alvarez from Fox's hit drama GOTHAM and the Teen Titan band BER!!! FREEADMISSION and great experiences from discovering and collecting an awesome array of comic books, to screen painting your own shirt, 3D printing, virtual demos, green screen photoshoots, workshops, panels, music, and vendors who make you want to shop 'til you drop!!
A dynamic comic fan convention, the Newark Culture Con highlights diversity, representation, and inclusion across all comic book genres in the arts, in the industry, and in the medium.

The Newark Culture Con 2019 is a featured event of Rutgers Day which spans across all three campuses and programs throughout the entire state of New Jersey. The Culture Con will feature traditional comic con fare, including cosplayers and artist alley, vendors, live performances, and special panels discussing the trending issues of inclusion and representation.
This is a FREE, family-friendly event, for all. FREE parking throughout the Rutgers campus (not including street parking)!! If you get a ticket using the link above, you will be automatically entered into all of the raffles.
