SFFD Neighborhood Emergency Response Team (NERT)

Personnel from the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) have developed a training for NERT volunteers. Members from the Operations and Communications sections will provide the instruction. The training will deliver an overview of the water system and what to look for and report after an earthquake. It will also include water treatment notification and methods.
