Roger Meyer and Melissa Martinez-Sones have extensive experience supporting non-profit organizations in transition.  We help organizations and leaders navigate organizational transition through strategic and succession planning, interim leadership, communications and coaching.  Come to this session and discuss transitions – how you can manage them, what to expect from outside consultants, and tips and tricks to build a more resilient organization.
Presented by Roger Meyer and Melissa Martinez-Sones.
Since 1993, Roger Meyer has worked with nonprofit and government organizations through important and often difficult transitions. From taking the reins of small neighborhood nonprofits to being the interim CEO for Volunteers of America, his work is infused with insights and knowledge gleaned from working with organizations as they grapple with internal and external change. Through a facilitative leadership style, he builds consensus and keeps organizations and partnerships moving through difficult issues. He brings optimism, energy and fresh ideas to his work – and brings out the same in others.
Melissa Martinez-Sones joined Meyer Consulting in 2014 and has helped define the spirit of our consulting brand with her intersection of passion for community and skill at moving collaborative projects forward. Melissa has a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Sociology from Hamline University, and a Master’s of Public Affairs from the Humphrey School at the University of Minnesota where she received the Thomas H. Swain Fellowship in Public Leadership.
