Break the winter blues and begin planning your spring garden by celebrating National Seed Swap Day with the Duke Farms 5th Annual Seed Swap! A seed swap is an event where gardeners can meet and share their excess vegetable, herb and flower seeds- either those they purchased or saved from last year’s garden. It’s a great way to try out a new variety! An assortment of heirloom and hybrid seeds will be provided by Duke Farms.
Each registrant is required to donate a minimum of 2 different kinds of seeds to the swap. Directions for what types of seeds to bring and how to label them will be provided.
Please note, the session from 9:30-10:30 is reserved for Duke Farms Community Gardeners only. 11:00-12:00 is open to anyone.
