National Chamber Ensemble - The Romantics

NCE's Musical Adventures Through The Time Machine continue to the Romantic Era just in time for Valentine's Day on Saturday February 9 at 7:30 PM at the Gunston Arts Center Theater One in Arlington, Virginia.
The music of the Romantic Period enraptures with rich melodies, brilliant virtuosity and passion. The program features extraordinary, exotic and enticing shorter works by Tchaikovsky, Mahler, Rachmaninov, Saint-Saens and Mendelssohn. A highlight of the evening will be the performance of Dvorak's masterpiece, the "Dumky" Piano Trio.

NCE artists performing will be Kathryn Brake (piano), Leonid Sushansky (violin), Uri Wassertzug (viola), Sean Neidlinger (cello).
This season each concert visits a different period in musical history. Experience the music of the great Romantic composers in a program showcasing some of their best and most intimate works.
