National Center for Evaluation and Assessment Inaugural Annual Conference

The National Center for Evaluation and Assessment aims to provide comprehensive evaluation and assessment resources for organizations and individuals whose goals are to increase their evaluation skillset and capacity. The goal of the National Center for Evaluation and Assessment is to provide useful, culturally-responsive and equitable tools, training, consulting, and community support to organizations interested in developing and improving their internal evaluation capacity.

Conference Goals:

The NCEA conference will bring together an inclusive range of organizations and evaluation professionals to highlight foundational or intermediary and advanced processes to provide the tools necessary for robust program evaluation. The NCEA is a network of professionals in the field of evaluation dedicated to learning from one another through valuable connections, honest conversations, and constructive dialogue. 

Evaluation and assessment are very important parts of aligning processes and practices with the evolving world by providing valuable feedback that organizations require to assess the value of a given program, project, or policy. The purpose of this conference will be to highlight evaluation processes and frameworks that center equity and inclusion. This conference will allow for collaboration among evaluators to share best practices, to highlight their challenges and their solutions, and to facilitate connections between colleagues to forge new pathways. 

The conference sessions are an excellent forum to highlight success stories, develop new skills, demonstrate best practices, exchange lessons learned, review current research, and discover valuable resources.

The inaugural NCEA conference will present an opportunity for professional growth. With approximately 75-100 professionals in attendance, this conference will provide the time and space to learn from others, strengthen understanding of evaluation methods, and gain perspectives on the interplay between theory and practice through dialogue, learning, and exploration of topics critical to evaluation and assessment.
