Meredith Willson's beloved musical comes alive as the Glory Players bring River City, Iowa to Plymouth, Minnesota. Harold Hill comes to town, promising to sell band instruments and uniforms to naive Midwestern parents, and teach the city children to be a new town band. Harold, however, is a con man and plans to leave town without giving any music lessons. The town librarian sees right through him, but when Harold shows kindness to her younger brother, Marian begins to fall in love. Featuring favorite songs like 76 Trombones and Gary, Indiana this show is sure to please children and adults alike. This performance has a run time of about 2 1/2 hours, including intermission.
