Music - Advanced Recorder Ensemble - Portland, OR 2020

Sopranos, altos, tenors, bass, & great bass come together as a polished ensemble under the guidance of an instructor. Meet other enthusiasts & refine skills that enable playing as one. Prerequisite: Recorder Level 3 or the equivalent - generally - advanced ability on both C and F instruments and sight-reading at a high level (reading independent notes and complex rhythms without assistance). Permission of instructor required. Daily individual practice between classes is an important part of successful music instruction. This is a school year length course that begins in late September/early October and continues through early June. Students are automatically rolled over into winter & spring term, with tuition due the first day of the new term. Listed fee is for Fall term, and is the same for Winter and Spring. There will be class the week of Thanksgiving, on November 27th. There will be a recital on the last day of each term (Fall: 12/4/19; Winter: 3/11/20; Spring: 6/3/20). Age Group 6.
