A special recognition event honoring celebrated Argentine-American artist and music journalist Sebastian Spreng for his contribution to the arts in South Florida, Miami Chamebr Music Society's 2018 Cultural Ambassador Award recipient. This is the first cocnert to take place at the newly unveiled accoustically and architecturally dazzling Kislak Center at the University of Miami.
Praised for their "intelligence" and “immensely satisfying” playing by the New York Times, the Amernet String Quartet has garnered recognition as one of today’s exceptional string quartets, they serve as Ensemble-in-Residence at Florida International University in Miami. The Quartet returns to Mainly Mozart with a program of works by Mozart, Schulhoff and are joined by the festival artistic director pianist Marina Radiushina in a performance of the glorious Dvorak Piano Quintet.
