This class engages learners in an interactive discussion and role-play based workshop on the application of Motivational Interviewing principles to the process of supervision. Practical examples of manager/supervision conversations are used to explore the core principles including understanding the person's motivation, listening with empathy, and empowering the individuals concerned.
