A Mother's Journey: Understanding, Relating and Expressing Puberty and Sexuality with your Daughter

This workshop will encourage you to explore your own journey with puberty and sexuality, and how this impacts communication with your daughter during this time in her life. Included will be discussions of past experiences with puberty, sex, and sexuality, messages you received, messages you want to give your daughter, and impediments and potential blocks to communication. We will briefly discuss how femininity and female connection has transformed over time. There will be a mindfulness-based activity that allows for further exploration and integration of these ideas.
