Soul-satisfying. Using creative elements of rock, folk, and soul, Mosa blends their take on the world into lyrically captivating and instrumentally feel good songs. The passion project is made up of singer-songwriter Melissa Frabotta and producer/bassist Phil Anthony, who both have an obsession with the grit and glamour of live performances. Their latest releases “Hard Times” and “Mama’s Got Brand New Shoes” were just released in December, with more music being recorded and expected to be released throughout the spring and summer of 2020. Vocal clarity. Old-school spirit. Musical sincerity. Solid sounds.

Garage pop laced with New York City grit, dark humor, and rock ‘n’ roll attitude. Born out of the American South, the first seeds for the group were planted when Josh Brocki and Manquillian Minniefee started messing around on guitar in high school down in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Fast forward to 2014: Josh and Manq, now living in Brooklyn, joined forces with Dallas, Texas-hailing Jesse Starr and Andrew “Ace” Jernigan to create Night Spins (FKA The Boobies).
Calling upon their experience working at burlesque clubs, circus shows, and raunchy variety clubs across NYC, the four-piece band melds its theatrical background with influences like Iggy Pop, Modest Mouse, and David Byrne for an unrivaled—and must-see—display of contemporary showmanship. So what does that sound like? Sizzling riffs, earworm hooks, raw vocals—all imbued with a Southern-bred shake of the supernatural. Fans who go to see Night Spins know one thing: They’re gonna get a show.
[ SUZANNE LAVINE ]

singer/songwriter based in Ardmore, PA. She writes 60s jangle pop songs influenced by the Beatles, R.E.M. and The Byrds. Her band that evening will consist of local Pleasantville resident Marc Seligman on bass as well as Seth Baer (borrowed from The Ben Vaughn Quintet) on drums
After an absence of 25 years from the music scene, Suzanne made her reappearance with her group The Vines from the 80s, as they reunited for a few shows. Inspired and rejuvenated, she began writing tunes for what became Crystal Clear, a six-song EP which will be released on Saturday May 4th, 2019. Following the formula she used back in the day, she created the same catchy, heartfelt jangle pop influenced by the Beatles, R.E.M. and The Byrds that she was always known for. After producing demos with singer/producer Hayley Cass, she began gathering musicians for the record. Starting with longtime friend, former bandmate and bassist Marc Seligman, she then added drummer Seth Baer of the Ben Vaughn Quintet. The three went to London Sound Studios in Cherry Hill, where Harris London recorded the basic tracks. Using her Hoboken days connections, Suzanne then reached out to vocalists Deena Shoshkes and Jon Fried, who she knew from the power pop band The Cucumbers, and now with The Campfire Flies. From Suzanne’s Philly connections, she was able to wrangle local legend Cliff Hillis, who added guitar, keyboards and backup vocals, as well as mixing/mastering services from his studio The Hacienda, in Phoenixville, PA.
