Every fall, families visit campus to get a firsthand look at the people, programs and places that have become home to their students. All Family Day events will take place on Saturday, September 16th! The official program begins at 1:30pm with the Presidential address but there are optional events throughout the morning.
Some events require specific pre-registration and additional fees. Also, be sure to order your Family Day shirt (logo above will be used on long sleeve shirt)!
Option 1: Campus Tour (cost: free) - Take a tour of Main Campus and have the opportunity to explore the brand new Sally Breidegam Miksiewicz Center for Health Sciences.
Option 2: Old Bethlehem Walking Tour (cost: $15/adults, $9/children 12 years and under) - Discover what makes Bethlehem so unique and learn about the history of the Moravians who founded the community and the college. This one hour guided walking tour will take you through historic Bethlehem including the oldest building in the city, 1741 Gemeinhaus. A shuttle will be provided to those who register for this tour.
Enjoy a meal in the Moravian College Marketplace or check out some off-campus favorites prior to the official start of Family Day.
Are you a Moravian College legacy family? If so, you are invited to join us for lunch where you will have the opportunity to meet and connect with other former Greyhounds. Cost: $15/adults, $8/students & children 12 years and under.
Take the opportunity to connect with various departments on campus including the Center for Career & Civic Engagement, Intercultural Advancement, Student Involvement, Greek Life, Commuter Services, and InFocus.
Meet President Bryon Grigsby '90 - he will present an update on the College followed by a question and answer session.
Our students will be showcasing their wide variety of talents during this session. Hear from students who spent the summer conducting research with a Faculty advisor and enjoy some of our talented musicians and dancers as they perform for you.
Study Abroad Panel Discussion - HUB Pavilion: Find out about Moravian College's global learning opportunities including short-term faculty-led seminars, semester study abroad with Moravian's overseas partners, and international internships. Hear from students who have recently returned from abroad and learn about their experiences. Moderator: Christian Sinclair, Director of International Studies
Meet the Deans Panel Discussion - HUB UBC Room: Have a question regarding your child's experience while at Moravian? This session will allow you to ask questions and have an open discussion with our Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students, Dr. Nicole Loyd, Associate Dean of Career and Civic Engagement Amy Saul, and Assistant Dean of Residence Life, Greek Life, and First-Year Programs, Liz Yates.
Cost: $15/adults, $8/children 12 years and under, MC Students=Free
Enjoy plenty of food, a variety of activities and entertainment, music, and more on the PPHAC patio before heading to the men's soccer game.
