Monochromatic Design Class

Join us for our inaugural Monochromatic Design Class at Bløm Meadworks! This introductory course presents basic design principles and tools used in modern floral design while exploring concepts of color theory. There will be special emphasis on designing within a monochromatic color palette. Drawing inspiration from Bløm Meadworks' Holiday Mead with cranberries and ginger, you will design a lush table centerpiece using various pink flowers. 

This workshop is available in two ticket options either BYOC - Bring Your Own Container OR and an All Inclusive Ticket which includes a container. If you choose to BYOC, we recommend cylindrical glass or ceramic vessels approximately 6-8" high and 4-5” wide at the mouth.
The workshop will take place in the Bløm Meadworks taproom, a mead and cider brewery in downtown Ann Arbor. Bløm crafts dry, carbonated, sessionable meads and ciders with ingredients sourced from local Michigan farmers and producers. Please note this workshop includes a 12oz pour of Holiday Mead. Non-alcoholic beverages available upon request.

Parking: Bløm Meadworks is located right next door to Fourth & Washington Parking Structure - the entrance is accessible via Washington. Free street parking available after 6pm.
