Manalapan Arts Council and the Monmouth County Library present Monk in Brazil

On his new CD, Pianist Matt King took the iconic compositions of Thelonious Monk on a wild ride through Brazil and garnered rave reviews!

Matt King is a pianist, organist, vocalist, composer, arranger and producer. His latest recording as a leader, Monk in Brazil, featured compositions of jazz legend Thelonious Monk, arranged by King in various Brazilian genres. Sharing their talents today, with Pianist Matt King, are vocalist Deborah Davis and Vibraphonist Bill Ware.

This concert is a cooperatively sponsored event with the Manalapan Arts Council.

Seats are available on a first come, first-served basis. We request that participants do not hold or reserve seats for others. Library staff reserves a number of seats for a limited time for family/friends of performers.
