MMA Improv - Undisputed Champs

Meet us in the octagon, as Anchorage's newest improv group MMA (Mostly Melanin Arts) prepares to tap you out -- with laughter. All original and unscripted! No stunt doubles! This 90-minute show, based on our favorite improv games in the style of "Whose Line is it Anyway,", is brought to you by an all-Anchorage cast of creatives, headed up by Darryl Akins of the nonprofit Obsidian Moon Entertainment. Founded in September 2017, Obsidian Moon Entertainment--an organization owned and operated by local entertainers--specializes in the promotion of theatrical production in the form of stage plays and improvisational theater, and aims to create local entertainment inclusive of the African American community. Or, as Darryl says: “I’m trying to make improv for people of color be about more than Wayne Brady."
