Skill Level:
Beginner
Learn a variety of soldering and forming techniques in this new workshop. We will learn to solder sterling and 14kt gold fill metals and add gemstones for a modern look. Experiment with texturing sheet metal in creative ways. Many different earring styles will be discussed.
All techniques will be demonstrated and the instructor will provide a large selection of metals, gems, and pearls. This is a great time to experiment and explore your creativity with all studio equipment at your disposal.
Each student will create up to 2 pairs of earrings each.
**** Please note **** A materials fee of $40 is due to the instructor at the time of the class. Materials are not included in the tuition.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen does not provide cash refunds for cancellation of classes unless the class is canceled by the instructor or the Guild. In order to request a withdrawal from a workshop, students must contact the Guild by phone at 717-431-8706 or email handmade@pacrafts.org at least 7 days before the class. Students who request a withdrawal at least 7 days prior to the class will receive a 100% tuition class credit.
Please note that we are unable to provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
