In celebration of Black History Month, the Anne Arundel Chapter of the NAACP in partnership with Work Life Behavioral Health Presents “Minority Money Matters”, a financial literacy event aimed at helping to educate and empower underserved communities throughout Anne Arundel County and surrounding areas. Minority Money Matters, a collaborative project, was created with the goal of bridging the financial literacy gap and strengthening the understanding of the impact of financial stability on improved health, physical and emotional well-being. The event will host a series of workshops, delivered by seasoned professionals who are excited to share their knowledge, stories of triumph and adversity, and offer advice in various areas, including Financial Planning & Credit Repair, Scholarships & Secondary Education, Life Insurance, Entrepreneurship, and Home Ownership.
