Are you contemplating and seeking God’s direction for your ministry? If so, allow BGCVA to assist you! Our new Ministry Training Track is specifically designed for: (1) lay persons who are interested in lay leadership (deacons, trustees, ministry leaders, and finance committee); (2) those discerning their call to ministry or initial sermon/licensing; (3) pastors, associate ministers, assistants to the pastor, assistant pastors, or associate pastors seeking to enhance their ministry preparedness; (4) ministers interested in the ordination process; or chaplaincy. Chaplains maintaining or seeking ecclesiastical endorsement, continuing education, and peer review as a Board Certified Chaplain will discover the benefits of partnering with BGCVA. (5) all new pastors and ministers who were ordained by other faith traditions are strongly urged to participate in M.T.T. and explore the Baptist history and heritage. Each participant will be given a selection of courses to enhance his/her ministry goal(s). As well, combined classes and ministry sessions will enhance vocational clarity and commitment. Note: All participants are asked to have a letter of recommendation from their pastor and/or deacon chair.
