PLEASE NOTE: You DO NOT need to print a receipt or ticket for this event!

Who: Volunteers ages 15 and older welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver.

What: Join us for Menlo Park's annual hike and hack! This is the LAST part in a two part series of workdays dedicated to sawing and cutting invasive ivy growing up trees along the stretch of Woodland Avenue, between Laurel Street Avenue and Middlefield Road (following San Francisquito Creek upstream). We may also remove ivy from around the bases of trees.

Help us improve habitat for native insects, birds, fish and other animals as we work to help restore the "bottom of the food chain" - our native plants that support all other native life.

Where: We'll meet at 901 Woodland Avenue, near the intersection of Laurel Avenue and Woodland Avenue. Since we’ll be “hiking” and hacking, please arrive by 1:50 PM (10 minutes before our usual 2 PM start time) to ensure that you can join on the fun!

Please bring: A reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended). We provide gloves, tools, and snacks. Minors under 18 must bring a waiver form signed by a parent.
