Join us for a discussion and oral history of the Crazy Horse family, along with a book signing of their book "Crazy Horse: The Lakota Warrior's Life and Legacy," published by Gibbs Smith. We will discuss why the Crazy Horse family stayed hidden for over a century. We will also discuss their maternal grandfather, War Eagle, a Dakota, and the ramifications of the 1838 treaty where the land was essentially leased to the government due to the Dakotas not understanding the selling of the land. Open to all ages.
