Meditation Meeting for Sober Alcoholics - AA

• What we ll do
This is an AA meeting with the focus on Meditation. Every Wednesday night, we meet to read a selection from AA literature on the topic of prayer, meditation, seeking and following a higher power s will, intuitively knowing, etc and then we go into silent contemplation for 10 minutes and then open up for discussion.

Once a month, we also have a speaker share his/her experience, strength and hope on how they learned to and currently meditate and the benefits they have experienced in their sobriety and then we go into silence and then open it up to discussion.

We have PLENTY of snacks, tea, filtered water, Keurig coffee and hot cocoa and have a separate donation basket for that.

Meeting starts at 6:30pm, but please arrive around 6pm so that you can get settled in, grab a chair and refreshments and not be walking in during the meditation part.

**If you do need to be late, please let me know and come in quietly and wait by the door for a few minutes if the group is in meditation.
