Description Join in on a two hour plant stroll to learn all about the medicinal and edible qualities of the plants that are growing around us. This workshop is outdoors, and will include a stroll of less than one mile. If your mobility or ability limits you from being able to traverse one mile on paved or unpaved paths, please contact asha.shoffner@ci.stpaul.mn.us so we can figure out a safe and accessible way for you to participate. This class is designed for adults. Youth ages 13-17 may register and attend so long as they are accompanied by an adult who has also registered. Our instructor, Angela Campbell is a Minneapolis based herbalist, energy medicine practitioner, maintenance gardener and educator. She has been digging in the dirt and working in the healing arts professionally since 2005. You can find her online at flora-and-stone dot com. Please note that if you have not yet created a profile in our online registration system, you will need to do so to register for this (or any) workshop. When creating a profile, the system asks you to select one of two gender options. Unfortunately, we are currently not able to add any additional gender options. We recognize that gender is on a spectrum and apologize if your gender identity is not listed as an option. We hope to make our system more inclusive and reflective of community in the future. To create a safe space for all, we will start this workshop with introductions – including the opportunity to share your pronoun. Please contact asha.shoffner@ci.stpaul.mn.us with any questions.
