MeadCon, now in it's 4th year, is the largest gathering to mead enthusiasts in the world, bringing in home and professional meadmakers and mead aficianados from all over the US and Canada, as well as from around the world.
MeadCon is two days of seminars, encompassing both home and professional tracks, and features an evening mead tasting event on the first night of the conference, the Mead Up, that showcases commercial meads from around the country, along with delectable hors d'ouvres and great company and networking.
Seminars have covered mead making techniques, pairing mead and food, beekeeping, working with the TTB, starting a meadery, bench trials, making mead cocktails, tastings of various meads, session meads, bochets, and lots more.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, we postponed the spring event, and are now holding it in September. Due to scheduling issues as a result, we will not be running with Mazer Cup. However, MeadCon will run right after the Great American Beer Festival. You can get tickets and more information on GABF at
