McKenzie Trail Tree Planting

Leap for Nature: Tree Planting! Help the City of Fresno Public Works Landscape Division, Keep Fresno Beautiful Campaign & Tree Fresno plant!

The City of Fresno Public Works Landscape Division, City of Fresno's Keep Fresno Beautiful Campaign and Tree Fresno are teaming up to help add 180 trees along the McKenzie Trail in SE Fresno, and we need your help! Volunteer for tree planting on February 29th and help beautify our city!

There will be two separate workshops/start times available: 7:30am and 11:30am. All volunteers will check-in at the Tree Fresno canopy, at the intersection of N. Helm Ave. and E. McKenzie Ave., located at 275 N. Helm Ave. Parking is available in the Kings Canyon Middle School parking lot, adjacent to Helm Ave.

Tree planting will take place from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and will focus on the entire trail between S Willow Ave. and S. Clovis Ave. Tree planting materials and training will be provided. You are encouraged to bring gloves, sun protection, and a refillable water bottle. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, too!
