Max Pain and the Groovies
MAX PAIN AND THE GROOVIES are a psychedelic high energy garage rock and roll group from Salt Lake City. They established their roots skateboarding together and jamming since adolescence. MAX PAIN AND THE GROOVIES released their first full length album, Electric Cosmo, on New Years Eve 2015 via Psych Lake City Records for CD/Vinyl Lolipop records on Cassette and Eager Waves Records for Euro promotion and distribution. Slug Magazine said of the release: ”Electro Cosmic is a cohesive, high-energy set from start to finish, but with 12 tracks, it’s three times as good. Here, psychedelic garage rock is taken to a new level: The boys go a littler harder, with the confidence to loosen up and let the reverb and mysticism flow." CROSSTOWN is a four piece Rock and Roll band from Chicago who are in their early 20s. They have only been formed to completion since June of 2015 and have just released their debut album "The Farside Town". The band has already played a number of shows since the summer around Chicago and the midwest. They have played with numerous shows such as, headlining Lincoln Hall and Double Door in Chicago. Their sound embodies the Rock and Roll spirit. These boys are immensely eager to get their music into the ears of people whom they have no doubt will enjoy listening as much as they enjoy playing. They are also ready to show bigger venues the vast number of loving family and friends who love to drink beer and watch Crosstown play. Their songs will take you both decades backward and forward, preserving and transposing a timeless sound into what music should good old fashioned, feel good favor.
