Matt DeCaro at Songbyrd Vinyl Lounge
Matt DeCaro is a mostly sad kinda funny singer songwriter originally from the DMV. He sings stories, screams anecdotes, and croons about what was. Critics claim that his songs are "too real" and high-schoolers claim that "they cant find the chords online to sing at the talent show!"
He's played in basements, theaters, and repurposed industrial novelty spaces across the country and once in Japan. He has two albums on Spotify. One is better than the other.
Music Genre: Incredibly self aware emo folk punk
Asa Q Martin has been playing since he was 8, writing since 14, has been in remission for 7 years, and is performing impassioned all original songs on stages in the US and Canada.
Started on a steady diet of folk, fusion, and playing guest guitar solos in his dad's rock band started Asa with a tradition of Americana and the reckless rebellion that would eventually grew into his angry chaotic indie punk guitar slinging teen years.
Though his delivery is routed in that honesty, his lyricism comes tinged with a penchant for sweet, strange, singer-songwriting.
Mary Wander started writing and performing a cappella folkpunk songs in 2014. They have since continued writing and performing songs, sometimes still a cappella, but mostly with an acoustic guitar. They currently tour the United States playing their music as well as singing harmonies in two other folkpunk bands.
You can find all of their released music on marywander.bandcamp.com as well as most streaming services.
They are based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
