Marshall Burke’s research focuses on social and economic impacts of environmental change, and on the economics of rural development in Africa. His work regularly appears in both economics and scientific journals, including recent publications in Nature, Science, and the Quarterly Journal of Economics. He holds a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from UC Berkeley, and a BA in International Relations from Stanford.

Admission is free, but registration is required for each attendee.

Transit: UCLA campus is accessible by multiple bus lines, including Metro, Culver City, Santa Monica, and many others.

Rideshare: If using Lyft or Uber, please enter UCLA Guest House as your drop-off destination. The Luskin School is across the street from the UCLA Guest House.

Parking: $13 per day, or $3/hour, paid by license plate. Nearest parking lot is Structure 3.

1. From Hilgard Ave. enter the east side of UCLA campus at Wyton Dr.

2. Make and immediate right turn onto Charles E. Young Dr. East and signs will direct you to Parking Structure 3. Look for Pay by Space parking.

3. From the ground level of Structure 3, go South on Charles E Young Drive toward Wyton Drive.

4. The Luskin School of Public Affairs is near the corner of Wyton and Charles E Young Drive.
