SAME March 2020 General Membership/Luncheon Meeting
Join us for our monthly General Membership Meeting and Luncheon at the HESS Club in Houston.
Our speaker will be Mr. Gregg Hostetler, P.E.. Mr. Hostetler will give a presentation entitled “Alternative Contracting Methods including programmatic use of Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) and Design-Build contracting for public heavy-civil infrastructure”.
CONSOR Engineers’ Alternative Contracting Lead, Gregg Hostetler, P.E., a thought-leader in innovative bridge management solutions, has dedicated much of his private and public sector career to Alternative Contracting Methods (ACMs), including programmatic use of Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) contracting for local and tribal agencies. Mr. Hostetler is a national expert on CM/GC and Project Bundling, one of FHWA’s new EDC-5 initiatives, and has served in the following specific capacities since 2010:
As the former Assistant Public Works Administrator for Osceola County, FL, Mr. Hostetler co-led the most rapidly deployed highway and bridge design and construction Project Bundling Programs in the nation using Alternative Contracting, specifically CM/GC. This award-winning program was featured in Public Works Magazine, Construction Today, and ENR Magazine. More recently he had a lead role in the Pueblo of Acoma’s (New Mexico) innovative and highly acclaimed project bundling program, representing the first tribal programmatic use of CM/GC in the Nation. Currently, he is serving in a lead role as the Design Program Manager for the Pawnee Nation’s programmatic use of CM/GC in Oklahoma, a program that represents the first successful bundling of horizontal and vertical construction with CM/GC contracting.
