Madden NFL 20 [Jan 30th]

The Super Bowl is around the corner, and that means more MADDEN NFL 20 action with Full Combo Esports! Join us on THURSDAY, JANUARY 30th for another Madden tournament. At least $750 in cash prizes guaranteed!
Whether you're a casual player, aspiring Madden professional, or just love the game of football, fans and players of all ages are invited to attend!
Buy your tickets online before 10pm on January 29th to SAVE $5/player, or get them in person at the door from 5:30pm-7:00pm.
- RULES -
Games will be played in “Exhibition” -> “Online Head to Head” -> “Play a Friend” mode against other players at the event.
Tournament will be SINGLE ELIMINATION games. Losing players are eliminated from the competition.

Players may change the Play Call Button Layout before a match, in the Settings -> “Visual Feedback” menu option.
Default: Y-X-A
Playstation Players: Y = “Triangle” / X = “Square” / A = “X”
Other Rules:
- TEAMS / PLAYBOOKS -
Players are allowed to mirror-match (use the same teams).
Players may use any of the 32 regulation NFL team's playbooks with their selected team. Custom playbooks are not permitted.
-21-POINT MERCY RULE -
A player that leads their opponent by 21 points or more will automatically be deemed the winner of a match if the other player fails to score on their next possession immediately following the lead being established.
- 4TH DOWN ATTEMPTS -
Players can go for it on 4th down anytime; fake Field Goals are allowed inside the 50-yard line on 4th down, or the last play of a half. Fake punts are allowed on 4th down when outside the opponent's 35 yard line.
- OFFSIDES -
Abuse of offsides is not permitted. Excessive uses of offsides to delay game clock will be looked at in a case-by-case basis.
- ONSIDE KICKS -
Players may onside kick at any time when down by 8 points or more, or when behind in the 4th quarter.
- AUDIBLES -
Players cannot audible out of the QB Kneel, Wildcat, Field Goal, or Punt formations.
- GLITCHES / BANNED PLAYS -
All glitches are prohibited; if you are caught abusing a glitch, you will either be automatically eliminated, or given a warning, depending on whether the glitch was deemed intentional; subsequent violations will result in being eliminated.
Plays that are deemed faulty or "glitched" and result in gameplay outside the normal bounds of real-life football, whether in regards to player movement, ball movement, breaking of standard NFL rules, etc, are not allowed.
Use of these plays will be looked at on a case-by-case basis.
BRACKET PLAY:
• Single Elimination: Losing players will be eliminated from the bracket.
• Reporting for Matches: Players will have 10 minutes to report for a match once announced. Failure to appear results in a disqualification.
• Seeding: Players will be randomly seeded at of the close of registration.

- EQUIPMENT -
Each player will use a provided console and monitor during their matches. Players will NOT be on the same screen.
All games will be played on Xbox Ones, on provided setups that consist of:
• Xbox One S console
• Standard Xbox One controller
• 23" ASUS 2ms-delay HD monitor
• Afterglow Lv 3 Stereo Headsets
• Converter for home-brought PS3/PS4 controller use on request
Additionally, players may bring other accessories from home, such as any model of thumbstick controller, headsets, KontrolFreeks, audio mixamps, etc, for use in their matches.
- INFO ABOUT PLAYSTATION CONVERTERS -
We provide Brooks brand PS3/PS4-to-X1 controller converters for anyone who prefers to use their home-brought PS3/PS4 controller for this competition.
Additionally, players are welcome to bring home-brought audio mixers/amps to see if your brand will work with our consoles for voice chat.
Converters are the only current method of utilizing PS4 controllers with X1 consoles.
Newer controller models released in the last 6 months may not yet be compatible with the converters, pending a firmware update from Brooks for support. For controller compatibility, please visit http://www.brookaccessory.com/detail/03946072/

- Food/Drink -
A food voucher is provided for free to all registered players. This is redeemable at the food stand in the event area for hot meals provided by the venue (hot dogs, tri-tip sandwiches, etc), with a side of chips or a piece of fruit.
Water bottles will be available for free to all players and spectators, while supplies last.
