An example list of packages is given below for "Any 5 courses" ticket based on target application courses as in the table below. Discounts are available for ACM/IEEE members through the discount codes distributed through SFBayACM, IEEE and ValleyML.ai mailing lists. Early bird tickets last till the end of June. Regular registration period is from July 1st to August 15th. Late registration starts from August 16th. Introduction: As data sources proliferate along with the computing power to process them, going straight to the data is one of the most straightforward ways to quickly gain insights and make predictions. Machine learning brings together computer science and statistics to harness that predictive power. It’s a must-have skill for all aspiring data analysts and data scientists, or anyone else who wants to wrestle all that raw data into refined trends and predictions. This is a training that will teach you the end-to-end process of investigating data through a machine-learning lens. It will teach you how to extract and identify useful features that best represent your data, a few of the most important machine learning algorithms, and how to evaluate the performance of your machine learning algorithms. In this Boot Camp, you will learn about the most effective machine learning techniques, and gain practice implementing them and getting them to work for yourself. More importantly, you'll learn about not only the theoretical underpinnings of learning, but also gain the practical knowledge needed to quickly and powerfully apply these techniques to new problems. This series of workshops are focused on explaining the foundations and intuitions of machine learning / deep learning along with guided programming exercises and applying deep learning techniques to practical applications in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Robotics, and Intelligent Video Analytics to solve real-world problems. In hands-on workshops, you will work on a project to create and deploy working applications. Details: Attendees would have access to course materials (presentations and programming exercises as well as video resources). Help would be available through Slack channels, which attendees can join through invitation and ask questions after each workshop. The topics covered in each workshop are described in detail below. For hands-on workshops 5 - 8, you will have a chance to work on a 5-week project, which starts from the second week of October and ends in the first week of November. The project instructions are provided every week according to the schedules in the table below. We have office hours right after the instructions so that you can ask questions and/or work on your project. The remote access to the instructions would be available through WebEX. The recorded instruction videos would also be available along with video resources through Thinkific (
