LULAC FTI YOUNG PROFESSIONAL and COLLEGIATE SYMPOSIUM Stakeholders Meeting

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) will be hosting its 90th annual LULAC Convention & Exposition in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 10 through Saturday, July 13, 2019.

Due to our organization's ongoing effort and mission to give back to the community, we will be hosting a Federal Training Institute (FTI) Young Professional & Collegiate Symposium “Cultivating Talent for Tomorrow” in collaboration with federal agencies. One of the key objectives of this event is to provide the Milwaukee Area career counselors, college students, and recent graduates information on how to find and apply for federal employment, build a Federal resume, and learn about the many opportunities (i.e. career, scholarships, and internships) that exist in the Federal government free of charge. In addition, representatives from several agencies will be sharing information on their recruitment initiatives.

The LULAC Young Professional and Collegiate Symposium will take place Thursday, July 11, 2019 (9:00 AM- 3:30 PM) at the Wisconsin Center, 400 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53203. We are in the planning process and our goal is to ensure that this initiative meets your needs and all other participants of this unique event. It is for this reason, that we invite you and/or your representativse to join us on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, 509 West Wisconsin Avenue, in the Oak Room from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. You are welcome to bring any additional members of your school to this meeting. Your expertise would be invaluable on determining what resources would be of most use to you and your community.
