Love For Education Fundraiser

The "Love for Education" fundraiser is our first DC event with hopes to raise money to launch our HOPE Program.

Key to Knowledge is a non-profit that was started by 6 high school students for a school project, and after receiving feedback we all decided to create the organization and follow our passion to help students in need. Our mission is to improve the education environment in developing countries by providing students with the resources they need to attend school despite their financial status. Sine 2017, we have helped over 450 students in Honduras, Cuba, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico and the organization is still run by students who are passionate about spreading education.

The "Love for Education" fundraiser is our first DC event with hopes to raise enough money to continue our mission by launching the HOPE Program; the program will first launch in Izabal, Guatemala where studies show children have lost hope in any future due to the normalcy of gang violence. Key to Knowledge will provide guidance counselors and community mentors to promote continued education and different alternatives to gang involvement which will result in a decline in the dropout rate and a decline the gang recruitment.
