Lotus Ladies Yoga is an empowerment group run by the Crisis Center’s trauma counseling program where survivors of trauma can receive the healing properties of yoga at no charge. This is an 18+ women’s yoga group that will include group activities such as breathing exercises, meditation, journaling, discussion, and a 45-60 minute posture class. Free resources will also be offered for participants in need of follow up care regarding their trauma or crisis.

12.4.19 (6:15-7:15pm): Beginners Flow: This basic yoga class will be done at a gentle pace starting with a breathing exercise, moving toward gentle flow of postures linking the movement with the breath. Props will be provided to assist in alignment and movement into the postures. Theme: POSSIBILITIES
12.18.19 (6:15-7:15pm): Gentle Yoga: This class is held at a slower pace and provides a relaxed practice that focuses on breathing and gentle flowing movements. Props are utilized for support and options for modifications will be provided. This class is appropriate for all levels. Theme: INTENTIONS

Suggested supplies: Water bottle, mat, journal, and an open mind.
Registration: This class is held weekly and people who wish to participate must register via Eventbrite.
