Los Angeles Soup - June 2017

Soup is coming to the Westside for our next dinner!

A sixth helping of Los Angeles Soup will be L.A. GOAL on Wednesday, June 14th. L.A. GOAL has empowered adults with developmental disabilities to live healthy, productive, independent lives since it's genesis in 1969.

Soup is a community dinner funding micro-grants for social impact and creative projects in LA.

Attendees will enjoy a simple supper of delicious soup and receive a vote to select their favorite project. Selected presenters have five minutes to share their idea and answer questions from the audience. At the event, attendees eat, talk, share resources, and vote on the project they favor the most. The ballots are counted and the winner goes home with all of the money raised to carry out their project. Winners come back to a future Soup dinner to report their project’s progress and success.

It is a purposefully simple recipe to bring people together for food and community. We look forward to sharing an evening with you!
