Synopsis:

The year is 1978. Lucy and Daphne are polar opposites, and yet the best of friends. Lucy believes in the power of true love and fate, and is a bit impulsive. Daphne on the other hand is methodical and logical and doesn't believe that one can find love in high school.

Lovestruck, Lucy decides to express her love for school heartthrob and Space Invaders master, Tommy Clarke by slipping anonymous love letters into his locker...every day. When Lucy is sick, she asks Daphne to place one of the letters in his locker in her absence, but Tommy and his bestfriend Frank catch Daphne in the act. Under the impression that the "creepy" letters are from Daphne, Tommy's feelings for her emerge and get decides to ask her out.
Forced by her mother, Daphne reluctantly goes out with Tommy. But when the two kiss, everything changes.
