In addition to their renowned runs and legendary live recordings at Jim Tarbell's original Cincinnati rock house, The Ludlow Garage, the Allman Brothers Band regularly performed at New York’s Fillmore East Auditorium, run by legendary promoter Bill Graham.
New Yorkers called the Fillmore East the "Church of Rock and Roll," and the Allmans played there often enough to half-jokingly become known as "Bill Graham’s house band."
