Known as Honest Abe from an early age, as the story goes, Lincoln's integrity remains a lasting part of his reputation. While in residence at the Cottage, he cemented his legacy of moral leadership with the Emancipation Proclamation. This year, we will explore the many facets of presidential character as our theme for the sixth annual Lincoln Ideas Forum. Join us as we bring together experts, scholars, and the public in an exploration of the character attributes that have served historic presidents, alongside contemporary reflections on how character informs leadership.

This program is open to the public. Please register to reserve your space. The program is free; a suggested donation of $15 helps offset costs for this program.
